Hi-Tech dye is great for coloring plastic, vinyl and carpet.
For use on Carpet- Carpet should be dry and vacuumed before applying. Apply one coat at a time and immediately brush the carpet with a stiff nylon brush like a magnolia 6NP. This process may need to be done 1-2 more times. Always allow the previous coat to dry to the point that it is no longer tacky before applying the next coat. Heavy coats will cause the fabric to become stiff.
For vinyl and plastics- Wash the substrate with soap and water and then use wax and grease remover to remove any remaining contaminants. Hold the aerosol 8-12 inches away and apply light coats while constantly moving in a sweeping motion across the surface. Allow product to properly dry between coating to prevent runs and blotches.
